This is a 3 hour, easy intensity drive and trek to the breathtaking Tram Ton pass and Silver waterfall, situated 15km from Sapa on the road to Lai Chau, the next province to Sapa. This is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at 1900m with a very interesting location as the Sapa side of the pass is often misty and cold while on the other side of the pass the weather is often warm and clear. This is a great location for photography so don't forget to recharge the battery in your camera.
his is a great light half day trek for the day you arrive in Sapa. Take a 3km short down hill trek to Cat Cat Village, the home of the Black H'mong. The walk will take you to the beautiful Cascade waterfall.
