Take a jeep or motorbike 4km from Sapa to visit the Black Hmong village of Ma Cha. Continue walking along the dirt paths, until you reach the unspoilt mountain village of Taphin home to two different minority groups; the Red Dao and the Black H'mong.
Have a picnic lunch in the village and explore Taphin with your guide. There is an option to take a traditional Red Dao hot bath with medicinal herbs. Return to Sapa by jeep or mini bus with some great memories and wonderful handcrafts.
