When you adopt a buffalo you are helping to give a unique gift to the local people of Sapa. The minority people depend on the buffalo to assist with ploughing their fields and growing their crops. In the winter of 2008 more then 3,000 buffalos perished in the worst winters in over 60 years. The effects are still being felt, many families are unable to afford to purchase a new buffalo. By adopting a buffalo your donation will go towards the support and care of the buffalo, you are the key to success.


Sapa Rooms boutique hotel invites you to take part in adopting a part of or an entire buffalo for the local minority tribes of Sapa, Northern Vietnam. When you adopt a buffalo you are helping to give a unique gift to the local minority people of Sapa. 
Ma Cha, located 7 km from Sapa town, is the most impoverished area of the Sapa region. There are over 1,000 Black H´mong ethnic minority people living in and around Ma Cha village. Sapa Rooms boutique hotel supports the local Ma Cha school.
Every day at 10:00am we start our cooking class with a tour to the local Sapa market. The market is very colourful with many wonderful organic fruits and vegetables to select from.
